Introduction
Zap Aliens is a colorful sci-fi shoot 'em up arcade game, in which you must save earth from invading aliens.
How to Play Zap Aliens
You must shoot all the aliens that are falling from the sky before the reach the bottom of the screen. Every time an alien makes it all the way, you lose some of your health. Lose all your health and its game over.
There are a number of stages to the game called 'waves' (i'm guessing 10 in total, but i got smashed by alien scum on level 7 and it was raising my BP too much to continue, so let us know in the comments if you complete the game and how many stages there are, so we can edit this page. Thanks!).
Each 'wave' is completed if you manage to survive it. The length of each 'wave' and how long is left is shown at the top of the screen, under 'time'., and the amount of health you have remaining is shown in the 'life' bar at the bottom of the screen.
To help you along the way, there are various bonuses and power ups. For example, there is a first aid box, that regenerates some of your health and a blue arrow that slows down the aliens speed. There is a full list of bonuses etc, shown on-screen before you start the game.
When hitting a falling astronaut, this will increase your scoring. The score multiplier will be shown on-screen, each time you hit an alien.
