Battleship War

Introduction

Battleship War is a similar game to Battleships, which kids and adults alike loved to play back in the 1980s and 90s.

How to Play Battleship War

The idea is to sink all the computers battleships before it sinks yours.

At the beginning of the game you get to select one of two modes. Basic or Advanced. The difference between the two is that, in advanced mode you can exchange points (which you score for hitting the computers battleships) for ‘airstrikes’ or ‘radar’.

Airstrikes cost 100 points and give you 5 strikes against 5 random zones. Radar costs 200 points and give you the location of one of the computers battleships.

After you have selected your mode, you get to place your battleships on the board. Once you are happy with how they are placed, you can start the game.

In order to launch a missile, simply select the square on the grid, you wish to fire at. The missile is then launched on-screen and you will see if it is a ‘hit’ or a ‘miss. Then the computer will take its turn, and so on.

First to sink all the opposing battleships, WINS!
